While this is certainly a reality in Texas, there are also hundreds of smaller ranching operations scattered across the state that are in the business of producing and marketing quality livestock and commodities—the J Bar D is such an operation in East Texas. Houston County was the first county formed in the Republic of Texas and is a beautiful blend of pine forests and rolling hills.
